How are you all doing on this cold morning? Todays post is all about the Autumn colours I love. There are s many beautiful warm colours at this time of year when the leaves are turning and it is these colour that have been the inspiration for this look.
Not been feeling quite myself this week as I have been suffering big time with blind pimples on my chin area I have been trying to give makeup a break on my face but usually when I’m feeling poo playing with makeup cheers me up it hasn’t worked this time I had to really layer the concealer up on my chin (not good I know) but I really wanted to make my usual weekly post. I have never suffered with this sot of thing before so if anyone has any tips to combat it I would appreciate it.
So let just get straight into things.
- thisworks in transit Camera close-up mask, moisturiser and primer I one.
- NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.
- Maybelline Big eyes black and white liner.
- MaxFactor Wild Mega Volume Mascara in black
- Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil.
- Quciy Super Waterproof Eyeliner pencil in black.
- Sleek Sunset Palette.
- Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation in nude.
- Maybelline instant Anti-age The Eraser Eye Concealer in light.
- NYX Above and Beyond Full coverage concealer in porcelain.
- Lunatick Cosmetic Labs Mystifiying Mattifying HD pressed powder.
- Makeup Revolution Ultra contour Palette
- Physicians Formula Happy Booster Bronzer
- W7 Fix you lips Anti-feathering lip pencil.
- bareminerals Mavelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready.
To begin prime you face with your usual primer I used the in transit camera close up one as I knew I needed some protection over those damn pimples. I don’t usually conceal under my foundation but today I needed to I used the NYX Full coverage concealer to hide as much redness as I could I would usually take a green concealer for this but I’ve run out.
Take your Beauty blender and apply foundation blend until completely satisfied, then take the Maybelline Eye Eraser Concealer and run it in the under eye area and blend out again with the beauty blender, Again with the NYX concealer I used it to highlight the bridge of the nose and up onto the centre of the forehead and you know the drill blend it out lol.
Set all of this with your choice of finishing powder I used the Lunatick Cosmetics HD finishing powder.
For the Brows I always use the Benefit Goof Proof pencil you can’t really go wrong with this.
Above is the much-loved and very used lol sleek Sunset palette I have circled all of the colours used in this look.
Pictured Above is the Makeup Revolution Ultra Contour Palette I generally use a mixture of the bottom row of darkest browns to carve out those cheek bones and temple area. For highlight this time though I stuck with the same palette and used the top row furthest right highlight colour, and applied this to my checks, centre of my forehead and chin.
I applied the Physicians formula Happy Booster Bronzer on my cheeks this bronzer is supposed to bring on feelings of happiness by mimicking endorphins I can’t say it works as I haven’t felt any different whilst wearing it smells nice thought and give the skin a nice glow.
Priming the eye area using the NYX Jumbo pencil in milk we can start here to build up colours. From the Sleek Palette take the orange shade circled in the above picture in white I filled in the whole lid area in this to give it a nice warm base to work from I then went over this lightly with the colour on the bottom row circled in blue above I blended this up into the crease of the eye and blended till I was happy with the colour, to add depth and build up the colour further more I used the top row circled in blue above and worked this into the crease and down onto the outer corners of the eyes. I don’t usually place colour under the eye area for fear of looking like I have a disease lol but I took the orange and smoked out in the lower lash line.
Line the eyes using ay black eye liner and again smoke it out with any black shadow you have it’s also good as it smoothes out any mistakes you may have made.
Line the water line with black curl you lashes add your mascara and your eyes are complete.
Finishing off the look I had to use my new baremineral Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready I lined my lips with the W7 anti-feathering liner and applied the lipstick and voila there is your autumn inspired makeup complete.
Hope you enjoyed this post all be it a little later in the week than normal. As always I will link all of the product below that I used so you guys can bag them for yourselves and give the look a try.
