Evening all hope you are all having a lovely week so far. I have been getting out and about this week id like to say getting back to nature but to be totally honest with you all I have been Pokemon hunting, I can hear you all shouting noooo at your screens right now but yes I too have been sucked into the latest craze. The plus points of this game is I am getting exercise and also seeing some beautiful places.
This week I took my youngest daughter to our local forestry commission, where they were holding a fairy event making crafts and so on but it was being in these beautiful surrounding that made me want to go a glam green look with makeup.
Here’s a few pictures of my little fairy in all her glory

First of all I primed my skin you can use any primer you feel comfortable with I usually go with the gosh primer, I then applied the oriflame concealer in my under eye area, over this went my foundation using a beauty blender. I followed this with the Maybelline eye eraser in my under eye and the NYX concealer on the bridge of my nose and up to my forehead I set all of this with the Sue Moxley no shine powder.
I took my Revolution contour palette and contoured my cheek and temple area bringing it up onto the outer edges of my forehead. Taking the sleek solstice highlighting palette I highlighted the bridge of the nose up onto the centre of the forehead and the cheek bones, cupids bow and chin.
For my eyes I started by applying the new cis moss coloured cream eyeshadow all over the lid, then I went into another green shade in the revolution palette called celebrate life. using the technic electric palette i added a vivid green to the outer corners i blended the three colours together to diffuse them evenly and avoid harsh lines of colour.
in the crease of my eye I took the revolution dia de los muertos palette and swept across with the colours go and get the world and comeback queen
Brows were perfected using the benefit goof proof pencil which I am in love with for brows at the moment and setting the in place with the ready set brow just keeps them in place all day long.
To finish off the look I used the eyeko fat eyeliner and some full on lashes for that forest glamour look i was hoping to achieve and on the lips a splash of faded.
well what do you think did I get my forest glam look or could i not see the wood for the trees lol?!?!
I shall post links to all of the products down below if you are interested in picking them up and trying your own take on my look.
